The assignment for this project was to create a piece which connected with the idea of synesthesia (the phenomenon of hearing colors and seeing sounds). This piece came about as a result of my listening to Charles Mingus' Weird Nightmare and connecting hue, texture, and fragments of recognizable elements to create a layered composition.
